We didn't think we were on a tourist circuit at all, but it turns out that Guaduas is a pretty famous old city, and one of the endpoints of the 'Ruta del Sol' which sees a lot of tourism. A pair of guides come up to us and show us how the scene we see here is actually on the back of the 10,000 peso note! (But the church is missing from the engraving -- it's from 1870 and thus too new to be on the bill.)
