Full Resolution Evening comes and we set up the telescope. The clouds open up and we have a fantastic sky. This shot is taken to the east, as Mars is rising (the huge orange blob). Above that is Sagittarius, and then Ultima Thule is right at the top. Nunki -- in the handle of the teapot -- is the closest bright star, and the one we use as a pointing reference. You can see the headlamp trails of Kai and I going back and forth to the car.
