Full Resolution We've driven up to Sutherland, about four hours from Cape Town. Here we're looking down on the hostel at SAAO, from the telescopes on the plateau slightly above. The hostel has a dining room, library, dorms, and so forth. The town of Sutherland is 10 km or so down, to the left.
