Check out that encouraging weather report!

It was pretty clear we were in for a cold and wet weekend of camping. First things first: go to the HQ park store, buy a tarp, and put it up.

OK, tap didn't last too long. (We got it eventually.)

The view from the lodge. It was warm and dry inside, when we were there allegedly to get our fifth load of firewood for the weekend. The woman at the front desk told us she'd taken dozens of inquiries from campers asking if they had any room left at the lodge...

For this photo, Reuben was detained outside. But that didn't last long!
