Full Resolution Just before 6 PM on January 1. Simon Porter sits at the center as the first flyby data start to downlink. You can see on the screen at the front the first few rows of the data (the horizontal grey bar toward the bottom of the screen). And you can see that Arrokoth is probably in the image, on the right, because of the 'image readout smear' -- CCD artifacts that cause bleeding of bright pixels into the rows below them. The data are coming down row by row, with more data every few minutes. Simon is hitting reload over and over again.
